DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
The works include replacing the South Sewer Collector System through an intelligent tunneling system (dug to a diameter of 500 mm for HDPE sewage pipe) and remodeling the Castelli Pumping Station. A new pumping system has been designed, including submersible electric pumps, the replacement of elevation pipes as well as a complete manifold, including valves, with 400 mm and 900 mm-diameter steel pipes. The works include installing a submersible agitator system, replacing hoisting systems, and refurbishing and replacing all electrical, automation and control equipment, among others.
