DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Data Center headquarters building, offices and parking With an anti-seismic concrete structure, reinforced concrete slabs and complete curtain wall enclosure. The glass skin covering the 10-story building is formed by structural antiseismic anodized aluminum tubes and is double glazed and sealed on all sides. For the sectors which are the most affected by the sun, there is a second skin which acts as a sunshade with a fixed inclination allowing visibility outward but filtering UV light and generating an air chamber which considerably reduces the thermal coefficient inside.
The Data Center has a high security safe room, which is impregnable and where all the province’s digital information is kept on special servers.
The building uses BMS, intelligent automatic handling facilities, with a control room and remote review system. The facilities offer high-tech access control, CCTV, fire services, fire detection and in the specific case of the Data Center, the standards are as high as necessary to ensure the protection of the documentation held in the Safe Room. The backup system is duplicated throughout the system regarding batteries and energy, which includes two generators, both for the building and for the Data Center.
The offices are fully equipped with every comfort to house 200 work stations, including a technical floor, modular carpeting, lighting, air conditioning, partition walls with glass panels, furniture and ergonomic chairs. Other facilities include telephony, data equipment, etc. Work stations are located in line with the curtain wall for the better use of natural lighting. The building is equipped with two state-of-the-art elevators and also has two hydraulic car lifts.
