DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
The work involves laying a master network of collector pipes parallel to the Avenues Soberanía Nacional and Malvinas Argentinas in the south of the city of Resistencia, of about 10 km in length, in diameters ranging from 500 mm to 1,400 mm. The collectors will receive input from the existing network, which will also involve reconditioning 14 pumping stations and a new drive of about 2 km in diameter 800 mm. Then the crude liquid will be transported to the point of treatment located approximately 5 km south of the urban area through a pipe diameter of 1,200 mm. Finally the treated liquid will be transported from the treatment site to be discharged into the Barranqueras river through a 13 km pipe which is 1,200 mm in diameter.
The principal tasks to be executed are:
Excavation and filling: 171,322 m3
Collector: 9,377 m
PVC pipe (diameter 500 mm – 600 mm) 837 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 900 mm) 1,764 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 1000 mm) 1,480 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 1200 mm) 3,775 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 1300 mm) 1,000 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 1400 mm) 520 m
Drive: 19,179 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 800 mm) 2,024 m
Fiber reinforced polyester (FRP) pipe (diameter 1200 mm) 17,155 m
