DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Repair and maintenance work. The repairs involved repaving 202.61 km of road surface with asphaltic concrete, after preparing and mending the current road by sealing fissures and cracks, sanding, patching and filling in potholes in the road surface and on the verge as well as filling in the track marks and wear, horizontal and vertical signage, reconstruction of verges and improvement of metal guardrails
The maintenance tasks to be performed throughout the contract period correspond to those needed to keep the road in satisfactory conditions of service for the user.
As with the other interventions a rotary intersection was built at the junction between RN 12 and RN No. 131 and another one for channeling traffic at the crossing between RN No. 12 and RN No. 26 with their respective illumination systems; a pedestrian walkway made of reinforced concrete in the town of Libertador San Martin (RN No. 131); 6 parking bays with shelters and sections of paved shoulder and guardrails with gabions on existing bridges over the Nogoyá (RN No. 12) and Ensenada (RN No. 131) streams.
