The Panedile-PDCI (Peruvian Construction and Infrastructure) consortium is launching a highly technologically complex strategic project in Lima, Peru: the construction of a high-tech building to house the 911 Emergency Center, which will centralize emergency response, urgent care, and information services for the Lima metropolitan area. The center will integrate the operations of the National Police, SAMU, the Fire Department, and Line 100 (domestic violence support) into a unified, modern communications system, improving coordination and response times across services.
Located on a plot of over 4,000 m² in the Chorrillos district, the 911 Emergency Center will feature first-class infrastructure, including key components such as a Tier 3-certified Data Center designed for continuous 24/7 operation, with redundant power supply, air conditioning, and security systems. The project will feature advanced systems for fire detection and suppression, structured cabling, access control, and intelligent infrastructure management (DCIM).
The building is designed to meet top international standards, including ANSI/TIA-942, NFPA 2001, and Peru’s National Building Regulations.
The facility will include three floors and a basement, with a total covered area of 10,019 m². Its foundation will be equipped with seismic isolators and surrounded by technical trenches with landscaped areas, including green walls planted with low-water-use vegetation. Additional components include an electrical substation, generator zones, dedicated rooms for the National Police and Fire Department, and a video wall for integrated monitoring.
At the heart of the facility, the Data Center will handle the storage, processing, and distribution of information from the 911 Center, ensuring maximum security and uninterrupted operation. With an installed electrical capacity of 1,622 kW and backup generators, the system is designed for full operational continuity under all conditions.
