The project involves widening a 27-kilometer stretch of National Route 34, from the border with the province of Salta to the junction with National Route 66 (between kilometers 1149 and 1176), by adding a second carriageway
The plan maintains the original layout while updating certain elements to reflect current road and traffic conditions, continuing the progress of previous works.
Key components of the project include:
- Construction of 9 new bridges.
- Installation of 695 lighting columns and 3.48 km of overhead power lines.
- Placement of 1,076.84 meters of galvanized guardrails.
- Roadway repairs, channel adjustments, and patching of existing surfaces.
This initiative will significantly improve connectivity and road safety, easing traffic between Jujuy and Salta and supporting regional development in northern Argentina.
